Bufo Integration

The Bufo experience is one of the most beautiful and life-changing experiences we can have! We experience ego death, we experience the physical death, and we disintegrate into All That Is. Bufo also opens up our subconscious minds to release the traumas, pains, and other conditions that we've carried around for years and years. And for have all of that to happen in the span of 20 minutes is mind-bending.

Coming out of Bufo is similar to being born again. And similar to the physical birth, life does not end the moment we are born. No! No! On the contrary, the journey just begins at birth/re-birth.

After the Bufo re-birth comes days, weeks, months, and even years of integration work. This is our homework. During integration, you may experience some, all, or other things in addition to the below:

• Continued emotional release
• Reconnecting with Source energy/with the Medicine
• Feeling like the daily routine of life is unimportant; perhaps feeling disassociated from things
• The desire to leave relationships and situations that no longer serve you
• Vigorous resolve to follow your dreams and purpose
• An enhancement of spiritual abilities (e.g., mediumship, healing, etc…)
• And so much more

One of the first questions people ask me about Bufo is, "How long does the experience last?" This is one of the most difficult questions to answer. Your ceremony itself lasts only 15-20 minutes. Some finish in less time, others can last up to an hour. But, the actual effects of Bufo are long-lasting. After you leave the ceremony space, it's time to begin the integration work. Again, this is why the Bufo experience can last years if not your entire lifetime. And while that may sound scary, trust me---it's a beautiful thing.

When you decide to sit with Bufo, you're making a conscious decision to blow open the doors to other dimensions, both internal and external. And with that understanding comes responsibility. And our responsibility is to take what we are shown during and after ceremony and integrate it into our lives. This means we're making the decision to follow the medicine path. We're committing to do the work. And family, this is the beauty of the medicine.

Think of all the karmic cycles that Bufo will help you break in this lifetime. 

With all of that said, integration is the most important part of the Bufo experience. Bufo is not a trip. It's not a drug. It's not a quick fix. It's medicine. It's a sacrament. A doorway. It's a way of life. It's a way of being.

So, prior to sitting with this sacred medicine, please be sure you're ready to follow whatever path the medicine presents to you.
